KTVU returns favor to Media Academy journalists after code switch story

Sometimes the professionals follow the amateurs.

That’s what happened  after Media Academy journalism students wrote about the school’s new “code switching” campaign. KTVU saw the newspaper and then showed up to turn the story into a television news segment for the entire Bay Area.

This is just a test story for my workshop on Internet Journalism. It is based on a real story that ran in the school newspaper in 2008.
