It was easier than many Media Academy sophomores expected it would be.

It was the English portion of the California High School Exit Examination. Students took the exam today.

“It was good because it was easy,” said sophomore Aide Marquez.

The exit exam is a high school requirement. Students must get at least a 350 on both the English and math sections. Students will take math tomorrow.

“I think math will be easy because I am hella smart,” said sophomore Eldon Tuione.

The Class of 2016 has advice for future sophomores.

“Be ready for it,” said sophomore Bel Manzanares. “Pass the first time, so you don’t have to take it again.”
